Valerie Van Ost was born on July 25, 1944 in Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire, England. Van Ost was a dancer as a teenager at the London Palladium theatre prior to embarking on an acting career in both films and TV shows at the age of 17. Best known for her memorable appearances in four "Carry On" movies, Valerie was once considered as a possible replacement for Diana Rigg as Emma Peel on the hit TV series The Avengers (1961). After calling it quits as an actress, Van Ost went on to become a respected casting director and formed a casting company with her second husband Andrew Millington. She died at age 75 from liver cancer on September 10, 2019.- Peter Attard was born in April 1944 in Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire, England, UK.
